Book: The Septimus Heap Series, by Angie Sage

At long last, the mysterious, magykal, and adventurous series, starring your one and only, Septimus Heap, has come to a close. Sigh! For those of you who are going, Septimus Heap, who's he? Why are you writing about him? Well, you've come to the right place to find out. The Septimus Heap series is a series of four books; Magyk, Physik, Flyte, and Queste. Note that while these words sound like regular English words, they are spelled differently, and therefore play a different role in the book than you might imagine. (Hint Hint) The first book, Magyk, is a Harry Potter's tale told in a different setting; an unsuspecting boy finds himself in possession of great magical powers, and could someday become a great wizard. For those people who are going, what a copycat! Why should I want to read a copy of the Harry Potter Book?!?!?! There are actually quite a few differences, which makes the book, and series, unique in its own way. For one, the book is not set in any distinguishable place known to us, and is set in a time long ago, when queens and kings still ruled men. Also, to those who did not possess magical powers, it was well known to those the wizards, witches, and other magical creatures that coinhabited the lands.
Although it seems as though the author has drawn some inspiration from the Harry Potter books, she adds many new and uniqe twists to the plot to make the story her own. I would reccomend this series to fans of Harry Potter and to anyone who likes fantasy books involving witches and wizards. It's a fun read! Below, are the pictures of the books:
