A Rave: Fashion!!

So, just recently, I've been getting more and more into fashion. Why?? I have no idea myself! It's just that, I don't know, it's fun to express yourself through fashion. It makes me feel good. I used to like mainstream designers, such as Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Escada, etc. But those clothes started getting too too generic for me... It was just, ugh. So currently, my faves are: 3.1 Philip Lim (in fact I just bought this deep purple dress from his collection), Chanel (mainstream, I know, but undoubtedly classic), Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marni, Rag & Bone (I have some awesome jeans from them), and a few more.
A lot of people scoff at me when they ask me how much I payed for a dress, or for just some jeans. But I like to look for quality. I know that the Rag & Bone jeans that I have are hand sewn and will last me a lot longer than some Levi's jeans. I'm willing to pay more for good quality clothing and shoes that will last me a lot longer than going through quite a few Old Navy t-shirts because the thread is unraveling. I'm willing to sacrifice quantity for quality. But, I also just love some designer clothing because it's fun, unique, and creative. I mean, who would have thought to wear legos on headbands, like what Marc Jacobs did with his models at his earlier fashion shows? Genius!
